About Our Cooperative Society

Established by staff, managed by staff, for the socio-economic empowerment of all university cooperators.

Society Background

Empowering Staff & Cooperators at KKU Vom

Karl Kumm University Staff Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd (KKUSMCSL) was founded with a singular vision: to build a resilient, member-owned financial platform that supports members in realizing their individual socio-economic aspirations without the burdensome interest rates of commercial banks.

By pooling monthly thrift savings directly from source, the society creates a robust capital fund. This fund enables low-interest loans (flat 5% per annum), commodity acquisitions, investment dividends, and emergency support whenever members require it.
